I recently had the utter pleasure to be part of an amazing day witnessing the marriage of Helen and Tony Rouse. Helen arrived in styled transported by a vintage Bentley accompanied by her handsome son who was to give her away. Helen looked amazing in a full length strapless wedding dress. She chose a beautiful bouquet of white and purple roses which complemented the bridesmaids lilac gowns perfectly. After an intimate service at beautifully decorated Cedar Room the wedding guests then travelled a short distance to Kirby Muxloe for the evening reception. A short walk outside of the Quorn Hotel is the gorgeous Kirby Muxloe Castle. One of Leicestershires Heritage venues, Kirby Muxloe Castle is a picturesque fortified mansion that was built for Lord Hastings, who was dramatically seized and executed by Richard III in 1483. Hastings’ descendants still believe they have a direct line to the throne of England. Guests can explore the atmospheric moated remains, the fine gatehouse, and complete corner tower of this brick-built mansion, which have been extensively conserved by English Heritage. A perfect venue for those couples wanting the WOW factor! See below for a full gallery of the day! To book your free wedding photography consultation please get in touch via our contact page.
